Mirtos Men must have been the kind of shoes ancient Greek philosophers wore while attending lectures and dialectics at the Platonic Academy, when not barefoot. If you look closer at Raphael’s famous fresco “The School of Athens”, you’ll notice that one of the two central figures, the elder Plato, is depicted as old, grey, and bare-foot walking alongside a younger Aristotle, who’s wearing strappy sandals and gold-trimmed robes. This fresco along with others portraying life at ancient Greece, including figures wearing strappy sandals for men have been a huge inspiration for the creation of Pagonis Greek Sandals’ collection.
In ancient Greece sandals were the most common type of footwear. They were worn by both men and women. The Greek sandals had many straps which were used to securely fasten the shoe to the foot. The strappy sandals for men like our Mirtos model were worn as an everyday footwear but also as a reliable pair of shoes during wars and battles.

- Full Grain Leather for Natural Vachetta.
- Colors Available Online: Natural & Brown.
- Fabrication: 70% Cow Leather, 30% Rubber.
- Non-chemical process.
- Bottom sole: Rubber EVA. 8mm Rubber provides better traction on wet surfaces, as a result, the chance of slipping is limited.
- Heel height: 2cm
- Only available in full sizes so go up to the nearest whole size if take a half size.
- Allow some time for your new Mirtos strappy sandals for men to break in for the leather to get softer and the natural tan color will get darker.

We hope you are happy with your purchase but if the items have not met your expectations, we are here to help. You can return the goods to us within 14 days of receipt of items and arrange for an exchange or refund. The exchange or refund must comply with our return policy:- Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged
- Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or used and undamaged with all tags attached and the original packaging included.
- Items must be returned with the original branded boxes and dust bags, where provided, and placed inside a protective outer box for shipping.
Returning your purchase

Include the order number found on the invoice and provide us the details of the products you would like to return and the reason for the return.
